I started IHS Capital Management with the goal of helping individuals, families, and business owners reach their financial goals. I was an adult education teacher in my first career, and it was there that I realized that helping others achieve their goals is how I wanted to design my life. After working at Transamerica and Morgan Stanley, I decided to start my own firm with my own set of ideals.
When I created IHS Capital Management, I design it around a culture that I have tried to instill in my sons. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking, honesty is telling people what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear, and service is putting others before yourself. These words stand as the infrastructure of a business that I can be proud.
I spend most of my free time with my wife and two sons. Basketball dominates most of our time, but we still find time to volunteer and raise money for a few nonprofits that are near and dear to our hearts. Fly fishing and off-roading are my favorite personal past times. In the end, I try to be a person that my wife can be proud of and my sons can look up to, helping my clients reach their goals along the way.
